On Sunday, 3 May, a helicopter operated by HELI COMPANY was deployed operationally to assist in suppressing a large-scale forest fire in the Bohemian Switzerland area. Upon arrival, the crew immediately commenced aerial firefighting operations and continued intensive deployment throughout the following day.
Over the two-day period, the helicopter logged a total of 8 flight hours directly over the fire area, carrying out more than 135 water drops. The total volume of water released exceeded 380,000 liters, significantly supporting ground firefighting units and contributing to the overall stabilization of the situation.
The operation was conducted under demanding conditions, requiring a high level of precision, coordination, and professionalism from the entire crew. Once again, this deployment confirmed that aerial firefighting is among the most effective response methods in hard-to-access terrain, where rapid intervention is critical to limiting fire spread.
We are pleased to have contributed our capabilities to significantly reducing damage to property and the environment, while demonstrating our reliability, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
