During the first weekend of September, Piešťany Airport became the centre of aviation activity in Slovakia. The International Aviation Days IMAD 2026, held on 5 and 6 September, attracted approximately 70,000 visitors over the two-day event.
HELI COMPANY was also present at this major aviation event, showcasing two smaller H269 helicopters from its fleet. These helicopters are primarily used for flight training and pilot preparation.
The helicopters also provided an opportunity to introduce the public to the broader range of activities carried out by our company. Visitors learned not only about our flight training activities and heavy helicopter maintenance capabilities, but also about our specialised aerial work and the related deployment of helicopters for aerial firefighting operations across Europe. This area has become an important part of our operational activities in recent years, with our crews operating both domestically and in international environments.
An important part of our participation at IMAD 2026 was the HELI COMPANY exhibition stand, where our employees engaged with visitors throughout both days, answered their questions and provided insight into the operation of our company, our helicopters, pilot training and the use of our aircraft in specialised aviation operations. Visitors could also take home small promotional items as a memento of their meeting with HELI COMPANY.
For HELI COMPANY, participation in IMAD 2026 was above all an opportunity to meet the public directly and present aviation not only as an attractive field, but primarily as a professional activity that plays an important role in flight training, specialised aerial work and responding to emergency situations.
