Aerial firefighting ranks among the most demanding types of aviation operations, requiring absolute aircraft reliability, flawless coordination, and the highest level of crew professionalism. Our company has long been a trusted provider of comprehensive aerial firefighting services, and the 2025 season—from June through November—was no exception. Once again, we operated on the picturesque island of Aphrodite, Cyprus, reaffirming our position as a reliable and respected partner on the international aerial firefighting stage.
Throughout the entire season, our helicopters were based at Paphos Airport, which served as our primary operating hub. From there, we carried out missions directed by the Air Operations Center, deploying to various locations across the island—often into rugged and hard-to-reach terrain—to suppress and contain wildfires. Thanks to the professionalism and dedication of our crews, we successfully halted or significantly slowed the spread of multiple large-scale fires, contributing to the protection of the environment, property, and the local population of this remarkable Mediterranean island.
During the 2025 aerial firefighting season, we achieved the following:
- Performed more than 405 water and retardant drops
- Dropped over 1,210,000 liters of water and 3,200 liters of foam concentrate onto active fire zones
- Logged more than 83 flight hours in operational deployment
- Conducted over 47 emergency response takeoffs
The 2025 Cyprus firefighting season once again demonstrated that our company continuously strives to be a trusted and dependable partner—one that delivers a high standard of professionalism and safety, while maintaining the capability to respond swiftly and effectively to dynamic situations across the international operational landscape.
